The individual will require excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate an eagerness to solve technical problems and be able to provide technical support to other people who are less technically minded. Installation and support of systems at our customers' premises in Essex and Greater London will be required, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Location: South Essex.
Salary: £18,000 to £22,000
 

Key Responsibilities
 

Answering calls made to our help desk at the CEME Innovation Centre in Rainham Essex in a polite and professional manner, logging requests as prioritised support tickets.

Work on pending support tickets in job queues in order to resolve and complete customer issues and requests, seeking help and advice from senior team members as necessary.

Log time and ticket progress notes, providing appropriate progress updates to customers that have made requests.

Monitor the tickets and emails generated by automated systems and apply the appropriate fixes.

Ensure the highest level of data security, systems integrity and performance at all times.

Work on-site at a customer’s premises in order to resolve problems that cannot be fixed remotely.

Develop knowledge and expertise, attending technical and career development training.
